Thamina is the head of our team and has over 12 years’ experience in private client work, specialising in Immigration, Family, Commercial Conveyancing and Wills and Probate laws. She is a dual qualified lawyer in England and Wales and in Bangladesh. Thamina has been working in the above-mentioned areas before she qualified and has helped thousands of families and individuals. Thamina qualified as a solicitor in 2011 after gaining a 2:1 in Law from the University of Northumbria and Bar Professional Training Course from the prestigious City University. She has a post-graduate diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from Queen Mary University, London. She is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and Young International Arbitration Group -LCIA. She completed her training contract at Farringdon Solicitors after having numerous experiences in the legal career. She worked at different firms before founding Thamina Solicitors in 2015. Thamina has also completed several professional development courses in Immigration and family law. She has been recognised in the annual British Bangladeshi Who’s Who in 2015. Thamina has been elected as Press and Publicity Secretary in the Society of British-Bangladeshi Solicitors (SBBS). Thamina speaks fluent Bengali, Sylheti Bengali and Chittagong Bengali. She is also fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
